Acer Liquid M330 with Windows 10 Mobile launched

Acer has finally launched its Liquid M330 smartphone for the US market. The device is powered by Microsoft’s Windows 10 Mobile and is priced at $99.99 (approximately Rs 6700) and will hit the shelves next month.
The Acer Liquid M330 was announced back at the IFA 2015 among eight other Liquid series smartphones and indeed stands as an affordable Windows 10 Mobile offering.
The handset is primarily made of plastic with a glass screen and packs in budget specifications that should be enough to deliver a smooth Windows 10 Mobile experience minus Continuum.
As for the specs of this humble smartphone, it packs in a 4.5-inch FWVGA (854×480 pixels) display and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 chipset. The device features 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. The camera department consists of 5MP units for both front and rear cameras. Also available is an LED flash on the back.
Connectivity options include 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and the smartphone is powered by a 2000mAh battery.
As sales of Windows Phone devices dwindle, it is a bit surprising as to why Acer would pick up a trail that many others have given up on. Microsoft’s very own Lumia 950 devices seem to be buggy at best, which gives customers little reason to invest in a smartphone that comes with a limited app store.
