Chinese smartphone maker Vivo has launched two new smartphones in China tagged as the Vivo X6S and a bigger version of the same called the X6S Plus. The smartphones are successors to the currently available Vivo X6 and X6 Plus and even look almost identical. For now there are no details about pricing or availability.
As for the rest of the internals, we get a 5.2-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display while the X6S Plus gets a 5.7-inch Full HD one. Inside, the specifications are almost similar. There is the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage (with no expansion).
Coming to camera modules, we get a 16MP camera with PDAF on the Plus, while the X6S features a 13MP unit.
Connectivity options include 4G radios, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, MicroUSB 2.0 port and FM Radio. You also get a fingerprint reader on the back and the handset boots to Android 5.1 Lollipop. Powering all of the above is a 2400mAh battery on the X6S while the X6S Plus gets a bigger 3000mAh unit.
