Xiaomi Mi 5, the 2016 flagship killer from Chinese smartphone maker has been officially launched in India. The smartphone is priced at Rs 24,999 for 3GB+32GB variant and will be available from Mi.com
Xiaomi today announced its flagship device the Mi 5 for India at a price of Rs 24,999, nearly a month after the phone was first unveiled in China and at the MWC in Barcelona. India is the first country after China to get the new Xiaomi flagship.
Mi 5 is Xiaomi’s most expensive smartphone to launch in India ever — Mi 4, which was the earlier flagship from the Chinese tech start-up had a price of Rs 19,999. With the Mi 5, Xiaomi has decided to sell the new phone on its own e-commerce platform Mi.com for the first four weeks. Other platforms will get it only later.
